Youth Mental Health First Aid Online 1/10/25 (Updated Test Group) (Sample:1)

Youth Mental Health First Aid is designed to teach parents, family members, caregivers, teachers, school staff, peers, neighbors, health and human services workers, and other caring citizens how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge or is in crisis.

Pre-Work

• Participants must complete two hours of self-paced pre-work prior to the live session.


• Pre-work is required to be eligible to attend and receive certification.

Technology

• Participants must join using a computer or tablet with a working camera and microphone.


• Stable internet access is required for full participation.

Attendance

• Full attendance at the live session is required to receive Youth Mental Health First Aid certification.

• Participants who arrive late or leave early may not be eligible for certification.

This class is set to begin at 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM on January 10th, 2026
